01Get your copy
Choose the platform you use. Each option includes the full desktop application.
For Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 12 or later. The Mac App Store currently offers version 1.0.1 and shows the one-time price for your region. Apple handles installation and updates. Version 1.1.0 is still under review for this store.
For Windows 10 build 19041 or later, including Windows 11. Microsoft Store shows your local one-time price and handles installation and updates.
Android through Google Play is planned for later. There is no public Android purchase or download yet.
02What you get
- The full desktop application — all 20 tournament formats, with no tiers and nothing held back.
- No app-enforced tournament or participant cap. Practical limits depend on your computer's available memory and storage.
- The organizer control desk, projector mode, match timer and sound.
- Every export: PNG, SVG, standings/matches/participants CSV, tournament JSON, printable report, printable event pack, and full JSON backups.
- Free updates within version 1.
- Version 1 access under your store's terms. Existing direct Mac purchases keep their original direct licence terms.
03System requirements
macOS 12 (Monterey) or later, on an Apple Silicon Mac. Roughly 20 MB of disk for the app, plus whatever your tournament data grows to.
Install Bracketware through the Mac App Store. The current public version is 1.0.1; check the listing for the latest available update.
Windows 10 build 19041 or later, or Windows 11. Install through Microsoft Store.
The current Mac App Store version requires an Apple Silicon Mac. If you need an Intel build, contact support.
04Release identity
The Mac version is delivered by Apple through the Mac App Store. The Windows version is delivered by Microsoft Store. The direct Mac download service retired on September 29, 2026. Existing installed copies continue to work offline. Previous buyers can contact support for help moving to the Mac App Store without purchasing again.
05Updates
The Mac App Store and Microsoft Store deliver updates for their respective versions. Already bought the direct Mac edition? Redeem your supplied App Store promo code before its stated expiry. If it expires or you need help, contact support from the purchase email address; do not purchase again to resolve an existing purchase. Keep your installed app and export a full backup before changing editions. The direct edition has no automatic updater.
If a future major version is ever a paid upgrade, it will be a separate, optional purchase. Your existing copy keeps working regardless — it does not stop functioning because a newer version exists.
